Service instructions

Note that you must not use any lubricants or cleaning liquids other than Isopropyl alcohol.

THE LONG GREEN BANDS
The bands in the card path do not normally break. And you can weld them with a soldering iron, or a heated screw driver, if you would accidentally cut them. That is to say, there is no need to keep spares of the bands.

The bands are made of Habasit® and can be sourced in most countries. Welded bands are available at www.bridge-shop.com.

THE BLUE FEED ROLLER
The blue feed roller will not move the cards from the hopper as if should when it is "lubricated" with residues from the cards. The blue roller needs to be cleaned when the sorting goes slower than normal and/or you get "Card not recognized" message because the bottom card has moved from its start position (at the stop).

We suggest that you rub the roller clean with a finger (but not your nails!) and, if that would not suffice, clean with Isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth.

Upgrade of blue roller
An improved version of the feed roller is available as spare part at www.bridge-shop.com You are advised to consult the Help desk before upgrade.

THE CAMERA
The camera should be kept reasonably free from dust. In most cases it is sufficient to blow off the dust (with your mouth). Dirt sitting on the glass is best removed with Isopropyl alcohol.

THE CARD SENSORS
The five card sensors in the card path need to be cleaned when there are no cards in the machine and you get incorrect "Sensor blocked" messages.

PROBLEMS?
c.f. the maintenance instruction that you got with the machine.

You also might find the Diagnostics tool useful if your problem isn't cured by basic cleaning.
