Save remark

Entries that are not accepted as results by BSC will be considered as ruling remarks.BSC will produce the message shown below when you enter something that is not an ordinary result. That is to say, it is NOT a warning that your entry is wrong - it is to draw your attention to the fact that you should check that the scoring program understands your ruling.

RULINGS & ARBITRAL SCORES
You can enter all kinds of rulings via the change results dialog in BSC. You should check, however, that your scoring software understands your way to enter rulings before you start to use this option

Common notations are:

Arbitral score

Not played (or "np")

Late play (or "lp")

40%-40%

40%-50%

40%-60%

50%-40%

50%-50%

50%-60%

60%-60%

A/A

A/A+

A/A-

A+/A

A-/A

But, again, you are not limited to the notations stated above. You can, for instance, test if your scoring program understands 60/60.If the ruling is an arbitral score, e.g. 300 pts in NS's favour, then you can enter a result that gives that amount. (The points are calculated and therefore not possible to enter.)
