Names

Most functions in this dialog are self explanatory, but we will clarify some of them:

Print

You can have the name list printed in name or ID order. You find the settings in the Preferences dialog.

All names on file
All names on file means that all names that are available in the Scorer system will be shown. That is to say, not only those who participate in the current game. C.f. File/Import names.

Search

You can search for a table, a pair number, member ID, or name. Just enter the search parameter in the box above the respective column.

Sorting

Click on the header of the column that shall govern the sorting. Click again and the sort order will be reversed.

Change ID
You can change an ID by clicking on an incorrect entry in the grid.

Swap positions
If two players have entered correct ID, but in the wrong positions, the fastest method to put it right is to copy either player´s ID and paste it into the other player´s position.

Change names
You can correct a name by clicking on it in the table; but note that such a correction will only affect what is shown in the current event. You will need to amend your source to the names to make the change permanent.

ASSIGNED POSITIONS
See the memo Names for advice on how to handle names where the players are assigned seats (seeded).

REGISTER PAIRS ARRIVING LATE
You can enter the ID and name of players arriving late by changing '0' and 'n/a' to number and name respectively. You will find the All names on file useful in this instance.
